I am currently in Tombstone AZ.

I'll do a little introduction first up.  Obviously I'm, Mel Curtis.  I'm a Senior Constable of Police in the Queensland Police Service.  I'm up to 8 years service this year.  I work in uniform general duties policing, and am specifically used as a field training officer as I am also a qualified teacher.  I am also a Captain in the Royal Australian Corps of Military Police (RACMP) which I've been doing for 11 years now. 

My (new) new husband, Leigh (also a Military Policeman), and I are touring around the place.  We got married in Vegas last Friday.  Our plans for Texas as such involve staying in San Antonio, Houston and Dallas, with specific things we wish to see.  We arrive in San Antonio on the 28th and are planning to tour the Alamo and surrounds.  We will arrive in Houston on the 29th and plan to visit the Space Centre, and finally get to Dallas on the 30th and we'd live to do a tour of the Kennedy sights in town. 

I realize our time frame is short and we had originally decided to tour around on motorbikes, but we now have an SUV to make it that much easier.  I also realize that this information is coming to you at short notice, so if it is too late to organize a meet'n'greet or similar I understand.  We are mainly looking for information on places to visit along the way I guess that may be of interest to us from a policing perspective.
